About Us

Erin Is Hope Foundation, Inc. (“Erin”) is a not-for-profit organization in Wichita, Kansas dedicated to serving children with communication disorders. This unique intervention setting provides access to medical speech, occupational and physical therapies for outpatient treatment, or as part of the specialty day school program. Medical therapies reflect best practices and scientific principles of intensive, incremental, multi-sensory rehabilitative clinical approaches. The school program facilitates a “marriage” of medical and educational strategies, resulting in individualized and intensive interventions. Because it is so very expensive, the private purchase of special educational is not realistic for most families. At “Erin,” however, every effort is made to establish a funding package that supports successful enrollment for every child. Certainly, every possible dollar is directed into direct service costs. For children with communication disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorders, verbal apraxia, oral apraxia, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, and countless medical diagnoses, “Erin” builds the strong medical and educational foundations of a stronger outcome for the child.

What Makes Us Different?

Our Medical Rehabilitation Model

Our focus is maximum outcomes as we implement an intensive, medical rehabilitation model of intervention that systematically trains, integrates and generalizes skills across disciplines. This practice builds verbal, attention, social, behavioral, memory and comprehension skills simultaneously.

Our Method

Our premier quality speech-language therapies train skills to become automatic through application of Association Method’s systematic, incremental, repetitive, intensive, multi-sensory treatment principles. All staff clinicians and classroom teachers are trained through 40 to 80 master’s level classroom hours of training in this specialized approach.

Our Ratio

Since our staff-to-child ratios are consistently 1:1, every clinical and educational moment is focused, intensive and productive. Behavioral, attention, and communicative skills are repeatedly reinforced within each task.

Our Staff

Our Outcomes

Over-and-over again, our families are thrilled as their children reveal abilities They never dared hope for. “We never thought he’d talk, let alone read!” While other professionals may have delivered minimal progress for the child, Erin Is Hope Foundation consistently expects and achieves significant success. “Why doesn’t everyone do this?”

Our Advocacy

Regardless of whether it if for appropriate public school education services or for determination of medical benefits, we are privileged to assist families in their quest to access a reasonable range of services for their child.
